Real stories, real progress
Success at The Ruck Club looks different for everyone. For some, it is completing their first five-kilometre walk with weight. For others, it means building stamina, improving mental headspace, or preparing for a major endurance event. We celebrate every win—from turning up consistently each weekend in Cambridge to conquering milestones that once felt out of reach. You do not need to be an athlete to start, but you might surprise yourself with what you can achieve.
"I had never carried weight on a walk before and felt intimidated at first. The community was welcoming from minute one. Now, finishing a 10km ruck with 10kg feels like second nature. It has transformed my core strength and confidence."
Sarah M., Cambridge
"Joining the weekend rucks gave me the structure I needed. Running was too harsh on my knees, but rucking gives me the same cardio burn and mental clarity without the pain. Plus, having a great group to chat with makes the miles fly by."
David P., Cambridge
"For me, it wasn’t about preparing for a military test or an ultra-marathon; it was about getting outside consistently and finding headspace away from my desk. The club is down-to-earth, supportive, and open to every fitness level."
Liam T., Cambridge
